Ray - Managing Proprietor & Tour Escort

Has spent his entire life serving customers. At the age of 24 he managed a branch of a company with salesmen twice his own age! His experience includes sales, marketing, product launches, company conferences and hundreds of nights in hotels whilst away from home on business. His experience of hotels proved very beneficial later in life.

Margaret - Joint Proprietor

Witnessed the heart attack in January 1987 that subsequently started a chain of events in Ray’s life, commencing with fund-raising for the British Heart Foundation and which culminated in the launch of Invitation Coach Events in 1992. She claims she would like a pound for every phone call she’s answered since then!

Lynn - Managing Proprietor’s PA

First involvement with us started when she and her husband Alan replaced Lynn’s parents at very short notice after a health problem. They then became regular customers, and later Ray offered Lynn a part time job to deal with customers and help him to manage crucial administrative tasks. She is now more like one of the family!

Hazel - Senior Tour Escort

Hazel and her husband Graeme were amongst our very early clientele. Approaching retirement, Hazel could think about little else other than how she would love to take people on holiday to enjoy themselves. Ray was easily persuaded, as her personality is ideal for a job where there are abundant opportunities to ‘go the extra mile’.

John - Semi-retired Tour Escort

Ray’s brother-in-law has travelled with a variety of Coach Operators over a long period of time. He likes the fact that our customers are treated as guests and not simply passengers. John usually works mainly during our busiest months, November and December.

The Nash Family

Wendy's grandfather founded Ferrers Coaches, so coaches have been a way of life in her family for many years. Wendy takes care of the administrative side of the business from their office in Wickford whilst her husband, Kevin, takes care of the coaches. Their son, Andrew has been driving since the day he was old enough to do so.
